Tell us a little about what you do on the Board

I contribute to the Marketing portfolio, which includes the areas of branding, social media and the web.

Why are you involved with the IEA Board?

I asked to join the Board late in 2013. I have a passion for helping people transform themselves. I see the Enneagram as an incredible tool in that process of transformation.

What was your first experience of the Enneagram?

I was introduced to the Enneagram when I was 18 years old from the Jesuits at Loyola University, Chicago and it has been a constant companion ever since.

Tell us a little about who you have trained with

My formal training was with the Narrative Tradition. I was lucky enough to train with David Daniels and Helen Palmer themselves. Every year I ensure that I continue to train with my own tradition but other schools as well to continue to broaden my knowledge and understanding of this system.

What is your most useful/interesting/amusing/compelling use of the Enneagram?

The Enneagram is a powerful transformational system. I continue to be amazed with the depth of insight and awareness that it allows when used with integrity and passion.

What do the words “Engagement”, “Education” and “Excellence” mean to you?

These words resound not only with the IEA but the Enneagram itself. They require solid modeling. One must engage first and foremost, to then allow the educative process to begin, to then encourage excellence through example.

How do you see the future of the Enneagram?

The Enneagram has been around in one form or another for hundreds, if not thousands, of years. We are but custodians, passing on this precious information to generations to come.
