Description
The format of this interactive, 3-day workshop is a combination of lecture, demonstrations, type groups, meditation and exercises. It provides information about and an experience of the use of arrow-line points for self-development. The relationship with wings will also be discussed. We will explore how these elements have been viewed in the past, how they are described by important Enneagram-related teachings from Gürdjieff, the Sufis, and others, and how we might usefully experience them in our own personal work.
To physically and graphically demonstrate the movement, a floor diagram of the Enneagram will provide some volunteers of each type with an opportunity to experience the movements from their own type to their “energizing” point, the point against the arrow, and their “resolution” point, the point with the arrow, while the rest of the group will experience this as witnesses and participants in the group experience.
Dinner Friday night and lunch Saturday and Sunday are provided in an on-site dining hall, as are coffee and snacks on Saturday and Sunday. The caterer operates a nut-free kitchen, and special accommodation can be made for additional dietary needs.
