The IEA Board recognizes how important it is to communicate to our membership. Thus, we will publish occasional Governance Updates here on the Nine Points Magazine portal providing the rationale for decisions we make. The IEA is a member organization; it is not the Board’s organization. Yes, we are charged with setting policy and making decisions, but we do our best to do so with the needs of the membership first in mind. That said, our membership is diverse, and not everyone is always happy with the decisions that are made. We urge you, the IEA members, to send us your feedback and voice your concerns. Let us know when you think we mess up, and let us know when you think we did something well. It will help us serve you better.
