Four IEA Affiliates in the Nordics are working together to arrange the next IEA European Enneagram Conference 2015 to take place September 4-6 in Copenhagen, Denmark.
We have already announced this event through an IEA email blast and other, and would like to bring it to your attention through NinePoints Magazine too.
The place for this IEA regional conference in 2015 is Denmark, Copenhagen area with easy access to the center of the city. Have you ever wondered where Hans Christian Andersen (the famous Danish author of many worldwide known fairy tales) was living most of his life? Then Copenhagen is the place to visit. Or have you heard about the many famous and very good restaurants of Copenhagen? Or would you like to go to the oldest amusement park in the world – Tivoli? Apart from that the main reason for going to Copenhagen in September would naturally be to join the regional IEA Enneagram conference in 2015.
During the IEA regional conference in Portugal in 2014, the board members of the Nordic IEA affiliates met and decided to host the conference in 2015. As a “joint venture” the four countries of the Nordics (Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Finland) will arrange and host (in Denmark) the IEA conference. So far the boards have been working closely together (thanks to all the good media we have these days) on finding a location, working out the finances and creating a website (www.ieaeurope2015.com) for the event.
Crossing borders
We have given the conference the title: Crossing Borders. With this we would like to stress the importance of gathering people from all over the world to join in as well as bringing the attention to many different Enneagram perspectives and traditions. And it also symbolizes the collaboration between the four Nordic countries who have been challenging each other as well as cooperating at all times all the way back from the Viking period in history. Today we’d rather work together than battle and the Enneagram is a wonderful way of giving us common grounds for this.

At the moment we are encouraging presenters to send in their proposal for a workshop online through www.ieaeurope2015.com/conference-program/ The deadline is January 15, so if you have not done it yet, there is still time.
Many people do not have the possibility to travel around the world to attend trainings and meet Enneagram teachers, so regional conferences are a great opportunity to participate and learn about other perspectives brought forward by professionals from all over the world. For you as a professional this would be a great chance to meet up not only with other professionals, but also with a strong Enneagram community to share your knowledge. By early February we are ready with a preliminary program, but we can already promise you that it will be a great conference!
