“We are not human beings on a spiritual journey.
We are spiritual beings on a human journey.”
- Author Unknown
We are born into our human lives without an operating manual. How easy things would be if we only had a guide that explains how to navigate life’s challenges. A book that would help us navigate all our relationships, but mostly how to meet our own shames, fears, illusions, hurts and loneliness.
This type of knowledge never did, and never will, come from one simple earthly guidebook, it only comes from experiencing life and realizing we have a choice to examine and learn. Wisdom enters us not just through the impressions of our head and heart, it is fortified in us by sensing it and working with it using our bodies.
How do I touch my Body’s wisdom?
Dru meditations and postures, are inspired by the teachings of Francis of Assisi and Mahatma Gandhi. Dru comes from the Sanskrit word dhruva which means ‘coming to a still point’. Using Dru techniques we will, not only engage our heads and our hearts in new teachings, but we will also embody these teachings, thereby anchoring a bit of wisdom.
Head and Heart learnings
The Holy Ideas of the enneagram awakens us to enculturated heart patterns and head fixations. The awareness and loosening of these patterns will be our first point of self-awareness. It will help us better understand where we get fixated and also how to open up our hearts to receive the universal flow through our bodies.
Over ten 2-hour sessions we will explore how our earthly selves resist Flow? There is a flow that runs through all the universe and through each of us. We are in it and it is in us.
If we do not become aware of how we unconsciously hold ourselves out of the flow of the universe, we will spend our lives wasting energy making things only about ourselves. Have you stopped listening to the innate Wisdom of the Universe.
