Enneagram Triads: 3 Centers of Intelligence
3-Week Masterclass: Understanding the Enneagram Triads, also known as Centers of Intelligence, can help individuals type themselves and others more accurately within the Enneagram system.
Description
The Enneagram is divided into three Triads known as the Centers of Intelligence — heart (234), head (567), and gut (891). Each Center of Intelligence has a specific core fear and is divided into three types. These three types have the same core fear but are managing the fear in unique, specific, and predictable ways which are on a continuum throughout the Enneagram Symbol that reveals key nuances of type.
Understanding the Enneagram Triads, also known as Centers of Intelligence, can help individuals type themselves and others more accurately within the Enneagram system. The Enneagram is a personality system that describes nine distinct personality types, grouped into three triads or centers: the Instinctual Triad, the Feeling Triad, and the Thinking Triad. Each triad or center has its own characteristic focus and core motivations.
The dominant type in each center creates your Tritype® Archetype. With this knowledge, you can more fully understand your personal Tritype® Archetype and you express the fear of each triad. Understanding the core issues of these centers makes it easier to comprehend how you express your head, heart, and gut. This knowledge illuminates why you think, feel, and act the way you do, revealing the underlying motivations, needs, and concerns that are expressed in your particular Tritype®.
