The Enneagram: The Power of the Repressed Centers

My primary work is to facilitate Enneagram programs through the lens of the Repressed Centers. Kathleen Hurley and Theodorre Donson, two founders of the International Enneagram Association, pioneered the use of the Repressed Centers for healing and spiritual transformation more than 30 years ago. I was certified in their approach by them at their home in Colorado in the late 1990s and given written consent to use their copywritten material.

Soon after my time with them, I met and took classes with Michael J. Goldberg. Michael introduced me to new way to look at the Wings. Michael called them the Shadow Point and Ally Point as referred to in his book The 9 Ways of Working.  I understood that Michael believed that by doing the work of Soul-Making and Spirit-Making one could lift off one’s Type and access all the points of the Enneagram.

Likewise, Kathy, Theodorre and Michael helped me understand the role of the divine feminine and masculine in the work of the Enneagram. I express some of these ideas in my book The Little Pink Book of Feminine Leadership: A Personal Journey.

This course will involve homework, lecture, readings, individual work, working in pairs, and group work.

This course is a pre-requisite for a course being developed to certify others to teach the Hurley/Donson Repressed Center approach to the Enneagram.  Certified teachers will have written consent to use the copywritten material of Kathy Hurley and Theodorre Donson.

For 30 years I have used Kathy’s, Theodorre’s, and Michael’s writings, tools and techniques to facilitate Enneagram programs around the country. Like them, I believe that the Enneagram, first and foremost is a tool for spiritual transformation. In May 2025 I who was asked to be a Global Ambassador for the International Enneagram Association.

In the tradition of Hurley, Donson and Goldberg, I not only view the Enneagram as a tool for healing and spiritual transformational, I acknowledge the power of the Enneagram in supporting my own Spontaneous Kundalini Awakening in 2023.

Kundalini, is described as the Divine Feminine creative power (Shakti) which is spiritual energy located at the base of the spine. The goal is to awaken this spiritual energy so it then travels up the spine, ultimately merging with the Divine Masculine, (Shiva), bringing about Divine Union with God. I am humbled and honored for the Grace of God in my ongoing awakening process and Enneagram endeavors.

Interested parties should request applications for the program directly from me at Angelina@TheMobiusCompany.com and they will be available in late July. Class size will be limited to no more than 16 participants. The course will be held in Charlotte, NC and runs from Thursday evening from 7:00PM to 9:00PM, Friday and Saturday from 8:30AM to 5:00PM. Accommodations are the responsibility of the participant and suggestions will accompany the application. Meals, except dinner are provided.
