2000 IEA Global Conference Presentation

No Recording

Presenter: Judith Searle

Great literature offers us opportunities to examine the raw material of experience before it crystallizes into behavior. Skillfully written characters in fiction also allow us to witness the process of an individual’s psychological change step by step, as it takes place over the course of the story. Through examining literary examples featuring interior monologue, participants in this workshop will increase their understanding of what it feels like to be each of the nine types. Where her 1999 IEA Conference presentation included nine male literary examples, this presentation offers nine female examples.
